Why do track shoes need to do tensile test and impact test?

What is a Tensile testing ?
Tensile testing refers to a test method of determining the properties of a material under an axial tensile load . The data obtained from the tensile test can determine the elastic limit , elongation , elastic modulus , proportional limit , area reduction , tensile strength , yield point , yield strength and other tensile performance indicators of the material .
A test to determine a series of properties of a material under a tensile load , also known as a tensile test . It is one of the basic methods of material mechanical performance testing , mainly used to check whether the material meets the specified standards and to study the performance of the material .
The tensile test is to test the mechanical properties of the track shoe material , which can ensure the service life of the track shoe , reduce the cost of use for customers , and improve production efficiency .
What is an impact testing?
Under impact loading , the ability of a metal to absorb deformation energy before fracturing is called toughness . Metal toughness is often measured by the impact toughness index . The metal material to be tested is made into a sample of a certain shape and size according to the regulations , and it is placed on a special impact testing machine and a certain impact load is applied to interrupt the sample to determine the impact toughness of the material . The test method is called impact test .
Impact tests is generally a test method to determine the safety , reliability and effectiveness of military and civilian equipment when they are subjected to external impact or action .
Low-temperature impacts to test ; store in a low-temperature medium for a certain period of time , and quickly take it out to complete the impact test after the temperature reaches the requirement . Other temperatures can be used in cryogenic baths , and alcohol or liquid nitrogen can be used to keep the samples warm according to different temperatures .
The impact test can test the mechanical properties of the track shoe and determine the safety , reliability and effectiveness of the track shoe when used . The service life of the track shoes can be improved , the use cost can be reduced , and the production efficiency can be improved .
