What is UT ?
UT (Ultrasonic Testing ) is one of the industrial non-destructive testing methods . When the ultrasonic wave enters the object and encounters a defect , part from / with the sound wave will be reflected , and the transmitter and receiver can analyze the reflected wave , and the defect can be detected extremely accurately . And it can display the position and size of internal defects , measure material thickness , etc .
What is the role of ultrasonic testing for crawler crane components track shoes ?
1 Large penetration ability , for example , the effective detection depth of steel can reach more than 1 meter , which can accurately detects the internal defects of track shoes ;

What are the requirements for ultrasonic testing ?

For some coarse-grained castings and welds , it is difficult to apply because it is easy to generate chaotic reflection waves .
2 . Ultrasonic testing also requires experienced inspectors to operate and judge the test results . Ultrasonic testing is very necessary for the production and use of track pads . It can accurately detect invisible cracks and interlayers on the surface of track shoes , thereby prolonging the service life of the product and reducing costs .
