XGC88000 Sets New Record with Offshore Wind Turbine Lift

Recently, XGC88000 crawler crane successfully completed its first tower boom operation in Yingkou, Liaoning, achieving a major achievement. The crawler crane successfully completed the hoisting operation of an 18MW offshore wind turbine, demonstrating China's leadership in heavy machinery innovation and reliability.
It is worth noting that this offshore wind turbine weighs nearly 800 tons, with a hub center as high as 145 meters and blade tips extending nearly 270 meters, which brought huge engineering challenges to the XGC88000 and highlighted the sturdy design and operational efficiency of the crawler crane.
Under the coordination of the auxiliary crane, the XGC88000 performed a series of complex operations, including hoisting, rotation, alignment and precise positioning, winning unanimous praise from the construction team.
