The First Successful Lifting of 1000 Tons Crawler Crane in Hami Project

On May 20, the Hami wind power project undertaken by Shenda group successfully completed the hoisting of the strongest wind turbine unit on land, helping the construction of wind energy base in Northwest China.

XCMG XCG1500A crawler crane is selected as the main crane this time. The maximum rated lifting capacity of the main boom is 1000 tons and the maximum lifting torque is 14314 tons. It can be installed on all models of onshore wind power.

The Jinfeng 6.25mw wind turbine unit hoisted this time is the largest onshore wind turbine unit in China, with an impeller diameter of 171 meters and a sweeping area of about 23000 square meters. After a single fan is connected to the grid for power generation, it can operate at full load and generate 6250 kwh per hour, which can reduce 42 million kg of carbon emissions per year. The successful hoisting of this model has greatly promoted the all-round development of new energy in Hami region.
