How to store and maintain crawler crane when it is idle?
● Storage of crawler cranes
1, Should be parked in a dry room, it is best not to park outdoors.
The flat floor is covered with wooden boards and covered with cover steps after parking.
2, Before long-term storage, it is necessary to maintain the machinery, repair the damaged components, and clean up the car to keep the technical condition in good condition.
3. The arrangement and layout of the airport should ensure that the entry and exit of any machine is not affected by other machines.
4. Place the fuel control rod of crawler crane in idle position and each control rod in neutral state.
● Engine maintenance
1, let out the cooling water in the engine
2, replace the new oil. The new oil is usually neutral and does not corrode the metal components of the engine easily.
3. Fill the fuel tank with diesel oil to avoid rust. If conditions permit, preservatives should also be added.
4, during downtime, the engine should be started once a month, so that the lubrication of each part to establish a new oil film, to prevent rust.
● Storage battery
1. Place the battery in a dry, anti-freezing position. Keep the surface dry and do not prevent conductive objects on the battery. When removing the battery, cut off the negative cable and then the positive cable. Connect the positive cable and then the negative cable.
2. Lead acid batteries should be charged once a month.
● Rust proofing
Before storage, we should check the size of the outer surface of the anti-paint paint peeling area to determine whether to repair the paint or thewhole machine to repaint the way to repair.
