How to Maintain the Chassis of Crawler Crane？
1. Track maintenance
The life of the track assy often depends on the tension degree of the track and whether the adjustment is reasonable, so the lower deflection of the upper track should be checked often.
Checking method: First clean the track and put a wooden wedge behind the idler. Then start walking and let the track squeeze the wooden wedge, so that the lower end of the track grounding is tensioned and the loose part of the upper part is bent down. Measure the lower deflection with a ruler. The normal deflection is generally 8 ~ 15mm.
2. Regular lubrication
The lubrication of the chassis of the crawler crane should be checked frequently, and add or replace lubricant on time.
The main parts need to be lubricated are: pins of track shoes, bottom roller, top roller and other movable parts.
