                    Component of Crawler Crane

Crawler crane consists of power device, working mechanism, boom, turntable, undercarriage chassis and so on.

1 The boom is a multi-section assembly truss structure, and the length can be changed after adjusting the number of sections. The lower end of the boom is hinged on the front of the turntable, and the top is supported by the suspension of the amplitude rope pulley block, and the dip Angle can be changed. There are also auxiliary arms on the top of the boom, and the auxiliary arm and the boom into a certain Angle. The lifting mechanism has two winch systems, the main winch system is used for lifting arm weight, the secondary winch system is used for lifting arm weight.

 

2 The turntable is installed on the chassis through the slewing support, and all the weight on the turntable can be transferred to the chassis. The power device, transmission system, winch, control mechanism, balance weight and machine shed are installed on it. The power unit can rotate the turntable 360° through the rotary mechanism. The slewing bearing is composed of the upper and lower rolling disks and the rolling parts (rolling balls and rollers) between them, which can transfer all the weight on the turntable to the chassis and ensure the free rotation of the turntable.

 

3 The undercarriage chassis comprises a walking mechanism and a walking device: the former makes the crane walk before and after and turn left and right; The latter is composed of track shoes, sprockets, idlers, track rollers, top rollers. Power device through the vertical axis, horizontal axis and chain drive wheel rotation, thereby driving the guide wheel and support wheel, so that the whole machine along the track rolling.
