Brake maintenance measures for crawler cranes undercarriage parts
The brake is an important safety component of the crawler crane. It has functions such as preventing the falling of suspended objects and realizing parking. Only a complete brake can ensure the accuracy of the crane's operation and safe production, and resolutely eliminate the operation with potential safety hazards. Lubricate and maintain regularly.
Mechanical failures such as excessive temperature of the brake wheel of the crawler crane, smoke from the brake pad, and inability to open the brake arm. The reasons for these mechanical failures are analyzed as follows:
a. Excessive wear of the brake band or brake wheel; partial detachment of the brake band; too loose adjustment of the main spring; grease between the brake band and the brake wheel; stuck or worn outside the living hinge Excessive parts; small crawler crane lock nut loose and the whole tie rod loose; hydraulic push rod brake impeller rotation is not flexible;
b. Serious brake pads or large pieces fall off, or the long-stroke electromagnet is stuck, the main spring fails, or the main components of the brake are damaged;
c. The gap between the brake and the gasket is adjusted too large or too small;
d. The hinge of the crane is stuck or the braking torque is adjusted too large, or there is a lack of oil and air in the cylinder of the hydraulic push rod brake releaser, or the grease used for the hydraulic push rod brake release does not meet the requirements, or the brake pads are not in line with the requirements. Dirt between brake wheels.
Preventive measures, regularly check and maintain the crane brakes, the brakes of the hoisting mechanism must be once every shift, and the brakes of the operating mechanism must be once a day. The main inspections are as follows:
a. Whether the hinges are stuck and worn, and whether there is looseness in each fastening;
b. Whether the movement of the moving parts of the small crawler crane is normal;
c. Whether the hydraulic system is normal;
d. Whether the wear between the brake wheel and the brake band is normal and clean.
