Driving on rough roads

Improper handling when turning
When the crawler is hanging in a turn, the crawler on one side walks and the crawler on the other side does not move, resulting in a large rotational motion. If the crawler is blocked by the raised part on the ground, it will get stuck on the crawler on the rotating side. Tracks can be easily strained.
Walking for a long time
The crawler crane can not drive on the road for too long like a car. The operator needs to pay special attention to it. The crawler crawler crane cannot walk for too long, which will not only cause great damage to the crawler, but also affect the service life of the equipment. Therefore, The mobile walking of the crawler crane must be mastered one degree.
The gravel in the track is not cleaned in time
When the crawler crawler is working or moving, some gravel or soil will enter into the crawler. If it is not removed in time before walking, the gravel will be squeezed on the driving wheel, guide wheel and other parts as the crawler rotates. Between the tracks, the track of the excavator will loosen over time, and it will also cause the chain rail to break.

02 Avoid the crawler hanging on inclined ground or turning suddenly
The crawler crane repeatedly walks on the inclined ground for a long time and turns suddenly, which will cause the side surface of the rail link to contact the side surface of the driving wheel and the guide wheel, resulting in increased wear and tear. Therefore, during the operation of the crawler crane, straight travel and large turns should be selected as much as possible, which can effectively prevent excessive wear.
03 Regularly check and reinforce bolts and nuts to effectively reduce wear and tear
After the crawler crane works for a long time, the rollers, crawler shoe bolts, driving wheel bolts, travel piping bolts and other components are easily loosened due to vibration. Continuing to operate the equipment with the track shoe bolts loose may create a gap between the bolts and the track shoe, which could lead to cracks in the track shoe. The generation of clearance may also enlarge the bolt holes between the track and the rail link, making it impossible to fasten it, resulting in the consequence that the track and the track link must be replaced.
Although most of the reasons for the wear of the crawler crane track come from some small details, it is these small details that are easy to ignore, which are likely to lead to major failures and consequences. Only with the careful care of the equipment over time, the equipment will last for a long time.
