Steel track shoe type

The track shoe is one of the chassis parts of the construction machinery, and it is a kind of wearing parts of the construction machinery used. The current track shoe materials mainly include rubber, high manganese steel, medium manganese steel, low alloy steel, ductile iron, aluminum alloy and aluminum matrix composite materials, and the steel track shoe is the most widely researched and applied, it is mainly divided into the following Three categories:

1. High manganese steel

High manganese steel, also known as Hadfield steel, has a standard composition of (wt%) Fe-12Mn-1.2C. It is a typical wear-resistant steel that resists strong impact wear because of its high strength, good toughness, and strong work hardening effect. , shows superior wear resistance under strong impact conditions, and is widely used in mining, metallurgy, automobiles, construction machinery, railways and other equipment parts.

At present, most of the track shoes for tanks and heavy-duty vehicles still use ZGMn13 high manganese steel. After the high manganese steel is water toughened, its strength and hardness are not high, and its unique feature is work hardening.

2. Medium manganese steel

Since the wear resistance of high manganese steel is conditionally limited, its high wear resistance is only under the conditions of strong impact (ie high stress

Under the condition of force working conditions), enough work hardening can be produced.

By reducing the manganese-carbon content, the medium-manganese steel has been researched and developed for the application of medium and small energy impact conditions, and the application effect is superior to that of the high-manganese steel. The composition design of medium manganese steel is very critical, which is mainly achieved by controlling the content of manganese and carbon elements. The manganese content is generally 6% to 10%, and the carbon content is usually 0.6% to 1.0%.

3. Low alloy steel

In recent years, there have been many reports on the research and application of low-alloy wear-resistant cast steel in track shoes. By optimizing the chemical composition, casting process and heat treatment process, the required mechanical properties can be obtained, which can meet the requirements of the track shoe.

Among them, typical medium carbon silicon manganese steels (such as 31Mn2Si, 40Mn2Si) and medium carbon low alloy steels for track shoes such as rare earth, boron, nickel and other elements (35MnTiB, 32CrMoB, 35CrNiMo, CrMnSiMoRE) are added.

Low alloy cast steel has the characteristics of low alloy content (5% of total alloy elements), low cost, wide source, good comprehensive mechanical properties, and simple manufacturing process. It is a track shoe material with good application prospects. (Purple Flame)
