Safe operation of crawler cranes

(1) The crane should operate, walk and park on a flat and solid ground. During normal operation, the slope should not be greater than 3 degrees, and a safe distance should be kept from the ditches and foundation pits.
(2) The key inspection items for crane start-up shall meet the following requirements:
1) All safety protection devices and all indicating instruments are safe and intact;
2) The steel wire rope and connecting parts meet the requirements;
3) Sufficient addition of fuel, lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, cooling water, etc.;
4) There is no looseness in the connecting parts.
(3) Before starting the crane, the main clutch should be disconnected, the control levers should be placed in the neutral position, and the internal combustion engine should be started in accordance with the regulations.
(4) During operation, the maximum elevation angle of the boom shall not exceed the factory regulations. When there is no information to check, it shall not exceed 78 degrees.
(5) When the lifting load reaches 90% or more of the rated lifting capacity, the lifting action should be carried out slowly, and it is strictly forbidden to carry out two or more actions at the same time.
(6) When using dual-machine lifting operations, cranes with similar lifting performance should be used. When lifting, the command should be unified and the actions should be coordinated and coordinated. The load should be unfairly distributed, and the lifting load of a single machine shall not exceed 80% of the allowable load. During the hoisting process, the hook pulley blocks of the two cranes should be kept in a vertical state.
(7) When the crane needs to travel with load, the load should not exceed 70% of the allowable lifting capacity, and the walking road should be solid and flat. The heavy objects should be in front of the crane. The weight should not be more than 500mm away from the ground, and the rope should be tied and drive slowly. Long-distance driving with load is strictly prohibited.
(8) When the crane is walking, the change should not be too rapid; when the turning radius is too small, it should be changed in stages; when the road is uneven, no turning should be allowed.
(9) The crane should travel without load when going up and down the slope. When going uphill, the elevation angle of the boom should be appropriately lowered, and when going downhill, the elevation angle of the boom should be appropriately enlarged. It is strictly forbidden to slide downhill in neutral gear.
