1. Clean on time
When encountering heavy rain, it should be cleaned in time.
2. Paint surface
The acidic components in the rainwater have a strong corrosive effect on the paint surface of the crawler crane and will cause damage to the paint surface of the crawler crane over time. Therefore, it is best to carry out a paint repair on the crawler crane during the rainy season. The simplest is waxing, and the longer and more effective way is to seal the glaze. Regardless of the method, put an invisible protective coat on the crawler crane to prevent the paint from fad and aging.
3. Chassis care
The chassis is the part closest to the ground, which is particularly affected by road conditions. Generally, this part is the most prone to rust and spots, and the wheel shell may even be loose and perforated. Therefore, we must pay attention to the cleaning and anti-rust treatment of the crawler crane chassis, and do a chassis anti-rust treatment.
4. Ignition starts
On rainy days, if the engine is not easy to start, sometimes even if it is barely started, it will be weak. The biggest possibility of this kind of failure is the leakage of the ignition system due to moisture, thus losing the normal ignition function.
Once it is found that the poor ignition and engine performance decline are caused by the dampness of the ignition system, it is best to dry the inside and outside of the distributor and the wires with a dry paper towel or dry cloth, and then use a special desiccant spray can spray the desiccant. At the distribution panel cover, battery connector, line connector, high-voltage wire, etc., the engine can be started after a while.
