Experienced drivers must know the key points of crawler crane maintenance.
For different equipment life spans, crawler cranes are necessary to maintain in sections by day, month, and year.
Daily maintenance checks are mainly:
Check whether the engine oil, coolant in the water tank, hydraulic oil, and diesel oil are missing.
Check the track roller, top roller, sprocket, idler, track shoe, pulleys of each part, bearings, wire ropes, booms, jigs, joint pins, locks, and pins of guy ropes for wear and tear and normal operation.
Check whether the control device, safety device, electrical device, various instruments, and indicator lights are normal.
The monthly maintenance checks are mainly:
Check the diesel engine oil filter (must be replaced every 300 hours), fuel filter (must be replaced every 300 hours), and whether the oil-water separator is clogged.
Whether the sprocket, idler, track roller, and top roller are loose or leaking oil, and whether there is collision or deformation of the track shoe and track frame.
Whether the brake, clutch, and support are filled with oil, whether the fixing bolts are, whether the speed machine, motor, valve group, and pipeline are leaking oil and whether the work is normal.
Annual maintenance and inspection are mainly:
Replace the third filter of the engine, the third filter of the hydraulic system, the air filter element, the hydraulic oil, and the gear oil of the reducer.
Clean the appearance of each hydraulic component, and solve or replace any problems found in time.
Check whether the steel wire ropes and stay ropes are rusted or severely worn and whether the hydraulic pipelines and electrical circuits are damaged. If any problems are found, they must be replaced.
Track maintenance and bottom maintenance can not be ignored.
The life of the track chain rail often depends on the tension of the track and whether the adjustment is reasonable, so the lower deflection of the upper track should be checked frequently. The inspection method is: first clean the crawler, put a wooden wedge on the rear and upper part of the driven wheel, and then drive the crawler to squeeze the wooden wedge, so that the lower end of the crawler is tensioned, and the upper loose part is scratched. Measure the deflection with a ruler, and the normal deflection is generally 8-15mm.
The track tensioning device consists of an oil cylinder, a tensioning beam, and a tensioning spring. The tensioning method is: to use a high-pressure oil gun to inject calcium-based grease into the oil cylinder from the oil injection nozzle, push the piston, and then push the driven wheel to move through the tensioning beam to achieve track tensioning. When loosening is required, slowly turn the oil filling valve counterclockwise to loosen it, and the grease will be discharged from the oil discharge port. Note: If the sag of the crawler belts on the left and right sides is different, the crawler belts will deviate when walking.
