Kenya is located in the east of Africa. The famous Great Rift Valley runs from north to south. It is one of the birthplaces of mankind and one of the most promising countries in Africa. In its vision 2030, the Kenya government has identified energy, infrastructure and construction, agriculture and manufacturing as key development areas.
10 years ago, Zoomlion, a Chinese manufacture, came to Africa and sold its products to Kenya to help build local infrastructure projects. With its excellent produce quality and superior service, Zoomlion was gradually accepted by the local market, became a popular local brand of construction machinery in Kenya.
Kenya’s economy has been undergoing rapid economic development in recent years, and the pace of energy construction is accelerating. In early 2017, several Zoomlion units arrived in Mombasa, Kenya’s largest port city, the city has recently come to be known in Vhina because it is connected to the capital, Nairobi, by a newly built railway line from Inner Mongolia. Here, Zoomlion produces are participating in the construction of a national energy construction project—kenya national oil and gas project hoisting.
In the first phase of the project, Zoomlion invested several pieces of equipment to participate in the construction, of which 180 tons of crawler cranes are currently the largest tonnage of equipment under construction in east and west Africa, the utility model is mainly used for hoisting the natural gas storage tank on the spot. Its fast installation, positioning and sufficient work effectively endure the construction progress of the project.
