Terex Demag Parts for Crawler Crane
Crawler crane undercarriage parts are an important part of the chassis system used for crawler cranes, mainly including track shoes, track rollers, drive wheels, carrier wheels, guide wheels and other components. These parts provide stable operation and load bearing capacity for the crawler crane through precise design and manufacture.

1. Track shoe: Track shoe is the key component of crawler crane chassis, responsible for bearing the weight of the whole body, transferring power and providing traction. It is usually made of high-strength and wear-resistant metal material, with good tensile strength and wear-resistant property.
2. Track Roller: Track Roller is the wheel used to support and drive the track, supporting and transmitting power through contact with the track. It is usually made of high-strength alloy steel, which has the characteristics of strong bearing capacity, wear-resisting and pressure-resisting.
3. Driving Wheel: Driving wheel is the key part used to transfer power to the track and drive the whole track undercarriage to operate normally. It is usually made of metal material with high strength and good wear resistance, which can provide sufficient traction and stability.
4. Carrier Roller: The bracket mainly plays the role of supporting and adjusting the tension of the track to ensure that the track maintains proper tension and stability in the running process. They are usually made of wear-resistant material or alloy steel, and can withstand greater pressure and friction.
5. Guide Wheel: The guide wheel is used to guide and support the track of the crawler to ensure that the track maintains the correct track and direction in the running process. It is usually made of wear-resistant material with good abrasion resistance and stability.
In which applications are crawler cranes usually used?

Crawler crane is a kind of mechanical equipment used for lifting and handling heavy goods, and its application areas are very wide.
1. Construction sites: Crawler cranes are often used for lifting and handling work on construction sites, for example, when constructing high-rise buildings, heavy construction materials such as steel beams, concrete components, etc. need to be lifted to the high altitude, and crawler cranes can provide stable support and strong load-bearing capacity.
2. Ports and shipyards: in ports and shipyards, crawler cranes are widely used in loading and unloading of goods, ship maintenance and handling operations, such as lifting containers, machinery and equipment, ship parts.
3. Railway and road construction: in railway and road construction, crawler cranes are used for laying tracks, road material handling and lifting, providing efficient construction support.
4. Mining and heavy industry: in the field of mining and heavy industry, crawler cranes are used for handling and lifting large ores, machinery and equipment and other heavy goods, to meet the needs of these industries for strong load-bearing capacity and stability.
5. Waste treatment and environmental protection: in the field of waste treatment and environmental protection, crawler cranes are used for handling, processing and lifting all kinds of waste and recycling materials, providing important technical support for the environmental protection industry.
Casting production process:

1. Mould making: Firstly, sand or metal moulds for casting track plates need to be made. The design and dimensions of the track plate are developed in the mould.
2. Casting: Molten metal (usually steel or cast iron) is poured into the mould to form the initial shape of the track plate. During the casting process, attention is paid to temperature and pressure applied to ensure uniform filling and solidification.
3. Polishing: Once the casting is complete, the track plate is polished to remove surface roughness and oxidation and to improve surface smoothness and texture.
4. Riser Milling: During the casting process there are usually spouts (riser) and sprues, which need to be milled off to make the surface of the track plate flatter.
5. Heat treatment: The track plate is subjected to heat treatment processes such as quenching and tempering to increase its hardness and strength and to reduce brittleness.
6. Hardness test: The hardness test is carried out on the heat-treated tracked plate to ensure that it meets the design hardness specifications.
7. Mechanical property test: conduct mechanical property test on the tracked plate, including tensile testing, impact testing, magnetic particle testing, peneration testing, ultrasonic testing and other tests, to ensure that it meets the design requirements of the mechanical property indexes.
8. Painting: Finally, the track plate is sprayed or painted to improve its corrosion resistance and aesthetics.
Forging production process:

1. Cutting: first of all, the raw material needs to be cut according to the design requirements and dimensions, in order to prepare for the subsequent forging process.
2. Forging: the cut raw material is heated to the appropriate temperature and then shaped in a mould by impact or extrusion to form the initial shape of the roller. The forging process needs to ensure the homogeneity of the metal material and the denseness of the internal structure.
3. Rough Machining: The forged supporting wheel is subjected to preliminary mechanical machining to remove surface unevenness and impurities such as residues.
4. HB Testing: The hardness test is carried out on the supporting wheel to ensure that it meets the hardness indexes required by the design.
5. Half-Finished Machining: Half-finished machining is carried out on the supporting wheel, including turning, milling, hole machining, etc., to make its shape and size more accurate.
6. Quenching: The wheel is heated to a suitable temperature and then cooled sharply to increase its hardness and strength and reduce its brittleness.
7. Finished Machining: The quenched wheel is finished to ensure its surface flatness and dimensional accuracy.
8. Cleaning: Cleaning of the supporting wheel to remove oil and impurities left during processing.
9. Assembly: the supporting wheel and other components for assembly to ensure that it can be used normally.
10. Packaging: Finally, the supporting wheel is packaged for transport and storage.
