3. Manufacturing Process

· Quenching: Heating KH500 crawler crane parts to high temperatures and then cooling them rapidly unifies the hardness and strength of the material.

· Tempering: Reheating to a moderate temperature and cooling naturally. This step reduces brittleness while maintaining the increased hardness after quenching, thereby achieving a balanced combination of strength, toughness and wear resistance.

· Surface quenching: After overall quenching and tempering, the surface of the component is quenched to improve the surface hardness, wear resistance and fatigue strength.
