Hardening of Crawler Crane Undercarriage Parts Track Shoe.

Precautions for quenching:

 

1. control the quenching temperature: too high or too low quenching temperature will negatively affect the hardness and wear resistance of the track plate, so the quenching temperature should be strictly controlled to ensure that the quenching effect meets the expectation.

 

2. Reasonable selection of quenching medium: different materials need to choose different quenching medium, generally commonly used media are water, oil and salt, etc., according to the characteristics of the material to choose the appropriate quenching medium.

 

3. Control the cooling speed: the cooling speed in the quenching process will also affect the performance of the track plate, according to the requirements of the track plate and the material properties to control the cooling speed, to avoid cracks and other problems.

 

4. Reasonable tempering treatment: the tracked plate after quenching may produce internal stress, need to carry out tempering treatment to eliminate stress, avoid material deformation and cracks.
